What is Video On Demand (VOD)?
Alright so I have been getting many questions about Video On Demand or VOD lately. I talk with many people about what the internet can offere them when it comes to porn and I start saying words like Video On Demand or VOD and I get the “huh look.” People ask me what I am talking about when i say video on demand. Well, here is your guide to what video on demand is and what it can do for you.
Video on Demand, I will refer to as VOD, is like pay-per-view but for internet porn. Here is the kicker though, you don’t have to pay for the whole movie like pay-per-view you only have to pay for the minimum amount of time you use. In the Adult Industry we call this the Conent Management System or Pay per minute service. Honestly with the technology that my friends and I are using you really are paying per second but PPS just sounds weird so we still use the saying pay per minute.

Registering does not mean you are spending one dime it just gives you a login and now you can save your favorite videos, favorite scenes, or even favorite porn stars. LOL, So make sure that you check the rate at which your video will play, I suggest if your video says “Premium” then you should put it at high. I would suggest you put it one lower then what ever setting the system automatically put the video on and this will make the video much smoother but with a little less quality. If you can find this look on the top right of the video page and it will say the my connection speed in yellow (options are Low, Medium, High,and Premium).
Now the questions that no one answers this is normally something you hope but never are told about.

1.If you pause will the time continue to Charge? No
2. If I fast forward to another part of the scene or another scene will I get charged for the time I passed in the scene? No
3. If I rewind will I get charged for the time I rewind? No
The Facts:
1. You only get charged for the time that you are watching the video.
2. The system is just a program sometimes you have to reload a video, the messup will not cause you to have any extra time be charged to your account.
3. The VOD sites want you to be happy, if something ever happens and you feel it wasn’t right or just don’t understand it send an email to customer service for the site. When in doubt or can’t find the email of the site put “info” at the begining of the the email address then the “@” sign and then the url of the site. This will be “info@whatever.com.”
